Parkside Cricket Academy was founded in 2005 by Sid Lahiri of Parkside School in Cobham Surrey. Sid played his cricket in Bengal,India as an opening batsman and currently plays for Normandy cricket club in Surrey.
Sid is an ECB Level 3 qualified coach. He is the Head of Cricket at Parkside School and coaches various age groups for Surrey County Cricket Club. He also coaches the 1st eleven Stoke d'Abernon Club squad.
The Parkside Cricket Academy organises cricket coaching cources for boys and girls from 6 years old through to adults. The Academy is a part of Parkside School.
The courses are directed by ECB qualified coaches. The programme for the youngsters is designed to give them a better knowledge and understanding of the game through enjoyment and full participation in all the activities.
The aim of the academy is to develop and encourage all standards of cricketers and provide them with the most advanced training programme. Where appropriate cricketers will be recommended to district and county coaching programme.
